Gold Greatest Hits

Gold Greatest Hits was the first greatest hits album released by Steps. It featured four new tracks including a cover of the Diana Ross hit Chain Reaction, which was released as a single. The ballad Words Are Not Enough was released as a second single. A release of Baby Don't Dance was planned for 2002 but was scrapped due to the group's split. The album features the track Only In My Dreams, the first in which all five members of Steps are credited as songwriters. The Gold Greatest Hits album notably omits the single You'll Be Sorry, which was left off the album due to the time constraint of the CD format.
